Iraqi resistance and Nasrallah’s support attempt
I think Iraqi resistance groups need to look at the whole conflict from wider view, use every single Arab or international support to their own benefit, and stop linking every event to Shi’as vs Sunnis.
Sadly that is not happening, as we see in this interview with Aljazeera, 1920 revolution Brigades spokesman Dr. Abdullah Sulaiman Al Umari criticized Hezbollah’s Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah, saying that he “speaks the words of others, or Nasrallah is trying to hijacks the Iraqi resistance achievements”.
He sees the conflict from a very narrow corner, not using any diplomacy, same old sectarian answers, not even to maneuver Nasrallah’s support to the resistance interests.
Nahidh Hattar on Al Akhbar points out that Nasrallah’s statement is far important than the radical view of “some factions”:
Hezbollah alliance with the Iraqi resistance will lead sooner or later to Shi’a - Shi’a and Sunni - Sunni split. At the end it will be a political split and sectarian split.
I wish that Hattar’s argument is true, If Nasrallah is serious then the next step is to reach the Iraqi resistance.
