Beware the Iranian snakes and Maliki’s failed visit to Jordan

Beware the Iranian snakes

Saturday morning, Baghdad residents and other southern provinces, surprised to see posters on the walls of many neighborhoods, with the text: “Beware the Iranian intelligence snakes”.

As you can see the posters here [scroll down], the rest of the text says:

Iranian intelligence and the Iranian Al-Quds Brigades are legally disguised as companies and civil service organizations inside Iraq.

Iraqis be aware of these snakes, which are spreading their poisons in our society, and fight them with all power you can afford.

Sadr Trend maneuver

Another unexpected move from the Sadr Trend, spokesman Al-Ubeidi announced today that the Sadrists will not participate in the coming provincial election as a political bloc. The Sadrists will not boycott the election but they will support independent personalities and institutions.
He explains the reason that the occupation still intervenes in the provincial assemblies, and we want to be an observation-body.

The report said that this is a preventive move taken by the Sadrists to block Maliki’s government attempts to ban the parties with militias from participating in the election.

Maliki’s failed visit to jordan

Jordan still celebrates the 18 dollar oil deal with Maliki’s, one writer went so far saying:

Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, with his movements and statements, he expressed great interest, to restore the depth of Arab– Iraq relations. Al-Maliki today, represents Iraq’s legitimacy from both sides; the majority and the international recognition.

Therefore, he is the qualified person, more than the others, to run this important task successfully. All what he needs is to provide him with Arab support.

But Jordanian newspaper Al Arab Al Youm revelaed that Maliki’s visit is very successful as the media tried to convince the public opinion:

Jordan rejects Iraq’s request to erase the debts

Jordan officially rejected a request from Iraq to erase 1350 million dollar debts. Finance Minister Dr. Hamad Alexasabh said that Jordan told Iraqi officials during the official talks that the debt belong to the Central Bank of Jordan and not the Government, so Paris Club decisions do not apply.
