German propaganda about the Syrian Nuclear allegations

The most comical theory about the so called Syrian Nuclear-Plant, published on Der Spiegel the German edition [not available in English yet].The report is full of misinformation timed one day before the IAEA delegation investigation visit to Syria, the newspaper claims that the information are based on a secret German intelligence report.

The short report

The site of Deir Al-Zour,” is a joint-reactor jointly between Syria and North Korea and Iran for military purposes” and that North Korea helps the Iranian scientists to develop a nuclear program because of the little experience of the Iranian scientists to enrich the Uranium.

Deir Al-Zour site is used as a temporary location to produce Plutonium, until Iran to be able to produce it on it’s own territory.

Based on intelligence reports, the plan to build the project started during Ahmadinejad visit to Syria in 2006. The Syrian president withdraws his support for the joint nuclear project with Iran.

The misinformation

- Iran with it’s size about six times bigger than Syria and mountains that can hide 10 Nuclear-Plants, hired a piece of ground the Syrian desert, lacks of cooling water for the Platinum-enrichment process, near the Iraqi borders, with heavy presence of the American military.

- Even the Israeli and American intelligence said, that the Syria started to build the site in 2001, I don’t know how they managed to create this story of the project started with Ahmadinejad visit to Syria.

- How this story can fit with the U.S. - Israeli propaganda that:

The intelligence community suspected that North Korea had been helping Syria’s nuclear program since 2001.
