The Bats of Darkness

After distributing leaflets warns the Iraqi publics from the “Iranian Snakes“, today there are more leaflets warn the public from the Iranian “Bats of Darkness” [images are here] saying:

Do you allow the Iranian intelligence to dominate your media to serve their evil interests?

The leaflets accuse the Iranian embassy in Baghdad of bribing Iraqi journalists, and name few of these media who are already spreading Iranian propaganda, one of the names put in the leaflet if Al-Hakim’s ALforat satellite TV channel.

More interesting is that, Iraqi celebrity poet Sa’adi Yousif accused the Americans of the same thing, bribing the Iraqi intellectuals , and he wrote his article in a very poetic version [the poet explained here].

Iraq’s political criteria

According to Okaz report, recent Iraqi political mood is based on four points with different criteria and priorities:

First - The Iraq - U.S. security agreement is the hotplate, that moves and redraws parties and political blocs alliances.

Second - The provincial election comes as second. This election will decide who will rule Iraq in the coming four years.

Third - The formation [or restoration] of Maliki new government, an unsolved issue and unexpected to be solved soon.

Fourth - The formation and the emergence of the political parties.

Peaceful resistance is hypocrisy

Muqtada Al-Sadr’s media and information adviser interviewed on Elaph today and this is what he said:

The attempts to crush Al-Sadr Trend gave contrary results and increased the strength of the movement, pointing out that arming the factions of the Mahdi Army are financed independtly.

In a question about the reason behind Al-Sadr decision to slpit the Mahdi Army

It is a step towards confronting foreign agendas, and distribute the efforts on several tasks, we believe that resistance should start from the nationalistic sense of the human, and not confined to carry arms only, but must include addressing the occupation’s agendas culturally, economicly and politically …etc.

Without usingthe term (peaceful resistance), which we consider some kind of political hypocrisy.
