The American congress; Arab media charter
A draft resolution represented to the U.S. congress to classify some Arab media as terrorist organizations inciting violence against the United States.
Resolution 1308 also asks to classify satellites that provide service for these channels or persons as terrorist organizations, such as Nilesat and Arabsat.
The American politician “Bilirakis” who came up with this idea urged Governments throughout the Middle East and U.S. allies to issue extend an official and public condemnation of those responsible for inciting violence against the Americans and the United States.”

The Arab Media Charter contains the following A to E points and the American added the F point:
A- Not to offend the leaders or national and religious symbols in the Arab world.
B- Not to damage social harmony, national unity, public order or traditional values.
C- To conform with the religious and ethical values of Arab society and take account of its family structure.
D- To refrain from broadcasting anything which calls into question God, the monotheistic religions, the prophets, sects or symbols of the various religious communities.
E- To protect Arab identity from the harmful effects of globalization.
