Fire and night in Lebanon

Let me tell you about the fire erupted two times yesterday in Juhniya — Lebanon, where I am spending my vacation, and I thought maybe the people are celebrating the new government or firefight started, but these are the reasons:

The first time around 11,00 o’clock pm, bullets sound, the reason is some stupid Turkish Arabic-synchronized soapserie. The fire erupted celebrating the end of the series.

The second time around 01,00 in the morning, sound of explosions, fireworks celebrating Miss Lebanon Beauty Pageant crowned in Regency Hotel near where I live, with nationalist songs and many flag waving in the street.

This is Lebanon, where a soapserie is celebration Miss Lebanon is Nationalism.

By the way, am I the only one here who buys six newspapers every morning?

So, LB, “six newspapers every morning” for the starters, ha ha ha… Let me fun you up for that with some other media war absurdities:

Here in Finland we are ready to claim that our modest news service NDHF Net’s become the world’s most censored site in the entire English cyberspace.

To back the claim up, here’s how the Google “News” terrorists censor the NDHF Net today:

§1. The NDHF Net news headlines do not appear in the Google search at all so that whichever headline you choose from our address http://newsdeskhelsinkifinland.net, only the original (and its possible reproductions) appear.

§2. Even “Newsdesk Helsinki Finland” itself doesn’t appear in the Google search as if our modest site didn’t exist:
    http://www.google.fi/search?q=%22newsdesk+helsinki+finland%22&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a

§4. Of some 1,600 mentions of “newsdesk helsinki finland” the Google Team admits (today) 1010:
    http://www.google.fi/search?q=%22newsdesk+helsinki+finland%22&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a
of which it chooses to display 49:
    http://www.google.fi/search?hl=fi&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&hs=X02&q=%22newsdesk+helsinki+finland%22&start=80&sa=N
Of these one single wire denotes back to the NDHF Net site:
    http://newsdeskhelsinkifinland.net/news/396/iraq_pipeline_fire_caused_by_mechanical_fault/
Therefore, the Google Terrorists provides the NDHF Net with 0,1 per cent of the existing NDHF Net coverage.

§4. For some reason the Google Team sustains one single NDHF Net wire among the search. Until yesterday the wire in question was this:
    http://newsdeskhelsinkifinland.net/news/396/iraq_pipeline_fire_caused_by_mechanical_fault/
However, to test the matter a NDHF Net Open Source Center was added to the wire with the result the Google now offering this wire:
    http://newsdeskhelsinkifinland.net/news/312/8_katyusha_rockets_seized_in_karbala/

§5. It’s really absurd, Finland supposedly being the country topping the press freedom of the world for years, but actually in possession of the world’s most censored site these days.

§6. To the business then: the NDHF Team is currently scouting the internet censorship around the “war on terror”. As an investigative news agency, before contacting the Guinness’ Record Book and claiming for the title of the world’s most censored site, we’d like to challenge all the Iraq war sites around the world to beat the censor record sketched above, if you can.

You may leave your hint under this article or pass it to the NDHF Team in address:

    NDHF Net (Media Squad)
    27.U.N.J.B.
    United Nations (Finland)
    http://newsdeskhelsinkifinland.net

    info@newsdeskhelsinkifinland.net

p.s. For those not knowing the background for the NDHF Net censorship, please read the article
    http://newsdeskhelsinkifinland.net/news/549/oscs_corporate_media_and_google_news_murderers_murderers_murderers___/
    and you’re pretty much informed.

Do also note that the problem isn’t restricted to the NDHF Net alone, but practically to all the friendly sites, as pointed out in comments made available by the courtesy of LB (Roads to Iraq) earlier:

  4. NDHF Net says:

@ LB: The Karbala wire is now “refreshed”: http://newsdeskhelsinkifinland.net/news/312/8_katyusha_rockets_seized_in_karbala/
Let’s see how the Google terrorists respond to that ;)

  5. NDHF Net says:

Thinking you wouldn’t mind, keep funning you up ;)

It seems that the Google “News” terrorist team’s now unhappy with the recent update of the Karbala wire (cf. above) too so that today the sole NDHF Net article displayed by them

    http://www.google.com/search?q=%22newsdesk+helsinki+finland%22&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a

    would be

    http://newsdeskhelsinkifinland.net/news/363/helsinki_captured_by_the_liberation_forces_on_13_4_1918/

As the NDHF Net Open Source Center is to be opened soon one might expect that article to be “refreshed” in the days to come ;)

Let’s see how long it will take before they come disappointed with that one as well…
