First, you need to see this:

Kurdistan regional presidential council issued a statement condemns the “conspiracy” of some Iraqi political blocs against the Kurds. Nothing new in the statement except the last part, which uses a threat language:

[The council] calls on all political parties to clarify their positions commitment to the constitution, federalism and the foundations of democracy, by contrast, the Kurdistan Regional Government will be forced to respond to such violation of the constitutional in different way.

The statement ends without any further explanation of the “different way”.

Kuwaiti newspaper Aljarida reported about a new Iraqi reconciliation conference in Cairo soon.

The report says that united Iraqi Alliance and few of “Awakening Councils” groups will participates in the conference but there is no mention of any resistance or opposition groups [the conference is contributed by the an American institute].

In their last paragraph, AKI reported that there are some resistance and Ba’athists groups to participate in the negotiations.

I am not sure who will represent the Ba’athists, but I am know that there not active members long time ago.
