Reason why Maliki sent military forces to Kirkuk

News­pa­per Alkhbar Al-khaleej explains the real rea­son why maliki sent the none-Kurds army troops to Kirkuk:

Hun­dreds of Kurds mili­tia mem­bers “Pesh­mer­gas” entered the city dis­guised as para­medics help­ing the explo­sion vic­tim, the mili­tia mem­bers were instructed by Barzani and Tal­a­bani to takeover the city and harshly con­front any Arab or Turkomen resistance..

The source told the news­pa­per that Arab tribes in Haw­ija area moved their set the fight­ers ready to con­front the Kur­dish mili­tia inva­sion of the city.

Al-Atiyah says on Al-jarida that there is no way that provin­cial elec­tion can be sched­uled this year, most likely it will be post­poned to the next year.

About the nego­ti­a­tion on Kirkuk, Turkomen nego­ti­a­tion del­e­ga­tion mem­ber reveals that there are dif­fer­ences among the Kurds themselves.

    Kirkuk and Mosul repeat­edly had these kinds of dis­or­ders before the time of the Baath. Noe the US has removed the Baath and insti­gated the old divi­sions that Sad­dam sup­pressed. There is noth­ing unprece­dented in this report.

    All the Iraqis need is to learn how to bal­ance the “rule of the major­ity” and the “rights of the minor­ity” in the con­text of democ­racy!
    In the Iraqi ver­sion of democ­racy its OK to invite a “neigh­bour­ing coun­try” to invede Iraq, just to force minori­ties let go of their free­dom. Get the picture?!
