American ambassador threatened the Iraqi parliament

While the news today confirms the failure of the parliament to achieve an agreement about the provincial election and the involvement of the Americans in this issue as Radio Sawa reported that Bush extended his tentacles in the matter calling Abdul Mahdi and Barzani ordering them solve the issue.

Accordance Bloc accused the American ambassador Ryan Crocker of being biased towards the Kurds, quoting him threatened to block the provincial election in case the parliament does not adopt the United Nation’s decision about Kirkuk.

There are rumors saying that the Kurds are now put Kirkuk issue to bargain with the North Iraq - Kurdistan region annual budget.

How did the ambassador “threaten” anyone?

The Iraqi parliament are a bunch of babies, all they do is vote themselves big salaries and benefits for themselves.

They need to get to work and start negotiating with each other to solve Iraq’s problems instead of taking vacations and days off.
