Jordan and the Iran option

Al-Khaleej drags our attention about Jordan attempts to improve its relation with Iran. The Jordanian Foreign minister Bashir reveals that he met his Iranian counterpart Mutaki four times, calling Iran a “brotherly state”.

The new in this is what he said about the Iranian right to own a nuclear-plant for “peaceful reasons”.

After few disappointments in their relation with the U.S., and the halt of Saudi financial support, Jordan chose the Iranian option.

The situation is so bad in Jordan that even the head of Muslim Brothers “Humam Said” called for the Gulf-States to save the country from catastrophic poverty.
