Islamic extremists and head of the Al-Maqreze Center in London Hani Al-Siba’i wrote an article denies the connection between female suicide bombers in Iraq and Al-Qaeda.The article “The truth about female suicide bombers brigades and the connection with Al-Qaeda” is an answer to a question from Islam online:
Recently we noticed the increase of women participants in combat and martyrdom operations against the American occupation in Iraq. How do you analyse this new phenomenon, and are these women members of Al Qaeda?
Al-Siba’I answer is not about if such “female suicide brigade” exists or not, the article is to refute the American claims that Al-Qaeda by uses of women is changing tactics.
In one of his points, Al-Siba’i reminds the readers that “Al-Qaeda in Iraq” never issued a single statement for two years because the orginization is melted with other Iraqi resistance groups in on entity called “Islamic State of Iraq”.
The above point is connected to this second point :
There is no statement issued by Al-Qaeda about the establishment of women-martyrs sub-organization before or after the Al-Qaeda joined the “Islamic State”.
Again, Al-Siba’i do not deny the existence of these organizations, but he insists on:
1– It is not Al-Qaeda tactic-change as the Americans claim [he says RAND dictated claims]. They are not a sub-organization of Al-Qaeda.
2– Female suicide bombers are probably the wives and sisters of martyred Mujahdeen in Iraq seeking revenge from the occupation forces.
3– Although we see these women suicide operations only in countries under direct occupation such as Palestine, Iraq, Chechnya and Afghanistan, but in Islam there are restrictions limit the women participations in Jihad [and suicide bombings].
4– Also there are women suicide operations by secular, socialist and none– Islamic groups such as Kurdish PKK fighter, Iran’s Mujahdeen Khalq, and Tamil Tigers in Asia [he means that the such female operations are not an Islamic trademark].
P.S.
Not long time ago, I reported about the formation of “female suicide bombers” by Iraqi resistance group Jaami, which is not AL-Qaeda.
