Rice in Baghdad, more pressure on Maliki

As usual, another sur­prise visit from Con­doleezza Rice to nego­ti­ate the with­drawal of the Amer­i­can occu­pa­tion forces [as the media claims] announc­ing that an Iraqi — Amer­i­can agree­ment is very close.

Accord­ing to AlMalaf Press, Maliki him­self inter­vened and put his own notes on the draft agreement.

The inter­est­ing thing is this head­line appeared on AKI for 15 min­utes and then removed.
