Diyala attack and the dirty squad

Another the­ory reported by Kuwaiti news­pa­per about what hap­pened in Diyala. The news­pa­per accused a spe­cial squads related to the Amer­i­cans headed by Kurds.

Haroon Muham­mad wrote today on AL-Quds Al-Arabi about why Diyala is dif­fi­cult to con­quer and why it is very essen­tial task for the Shi­ite gov­ern­ment, the Kurds and the Amer­i­cans to con­trol the city.

Accord­ing to Kuwaiti Awan news­pa­per [remem­ber that all Kuwaiti news­pa­pers are pro-U.S.], the Amer­i­can forces are using Spe­cial Forces dis­guised in Arab tra­di­tional cloths to carry out assas­si­na­tion cam­paign against Al-Qaeda members.

Source told the news­pa­per that the Amer­i­cans used the same assas­si­na­tion method before in Ahdamiya and Arab-Jibour to get rid of Al-Qaeda. Then forces that con­ducted the Diyala oper­a­tion is car­ried out by the same forces

Diyala new police chief “Abdul Karim Kha­laf” told the news­pa­per that the forces entered the build­ing and killed the head of the provin­cial coun­cil secu­rity is an Anti-Terrorism forces oper­ate under the orders of the Min­is­ters Council.

Al-Malaf Press added more infor­ma­tion to the LAtimes report, say­ing that the leader of the “Dirty Squad” is a Kur­dish offi­cer “Fad­hil Bir­wari” told the par­lia­ment months ago that the “Dirty Squads” is not oper­at­ing under the Amer­i­can com­mand any­more. Since 2007 the squad fall under the com­mand of Iraqis.
