It seems that his expecÂtaÂtions are true, Ismail Al-Wa’li brother of Basra govÂerÂnor revealed some imporÂtant inforÂmaÂtion to the JorÂdanÂian newsÂpaÂper Al-Ghad that orders came from Sistani’s son MohamÂmad Ridha to the Maliki’s govÂernÂment to mobiÂlize the Iraqi army and attack Basra for the secÂond round.
His inforÂmaÂtion are conÂfirmed by Qatari newsÂpaÂper Al-Bayan, which reported that milÂiÂtary comÂmand in Basra is preparÂing for a new secuÂrity camÂpaign in the city. The newsÂpaÂper quoted Basra’s comÂmand spokesman colonel Abbas Al-Timimi saying:
The new camÂpaign will cover all Basra area to arrest the outÂlaws who fled to other places durÂing the preÂviÂous campaign.
We reported earÂlier that Maliki and the United Iraqi Alliance are very upset with the outÂcome of the preÂviÂous Basra camÂpaign and it is time things must be corrected.
