What if Iran closes the Hormuz Strait?

This is very weird, two different message from two different Kuwaiti newspapers:

On Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida there is an interview with the head of the Gulf Cooperation Council GCC Al-Atyah saying that Iran plays Saddam’s role in threatening the Gulf-States:

The fall of the former Iraqi regime paved the way for the Iranians to threaten the Gulf States to impose their domination and achieve their ambitions, just as the previous [Iraqi] regime did.

But yet, on Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Watan there is this:

Sources told the newspaper about the expectations to invite the Iranian president to attend the GCC summit in Muscat — Oman next February to show the GCC peaceful intentions towards Iran.

Does anybody remember Saudi propagandist Tariq Alhomayed when he criticized Syria for inviting Iran to the Arab summit? “Why Not Let Iran Host the Arab Summit?”.

A very good English study released by The Gulf, answers the question: “What if Iran closes the Hormuz Strait?”.

There is a very funny line shows how spoiled are the Gulf-States:

It is ironic that organic waste, particularly discarded food, accounts for up to 70 per cent of household rubbish in the Gulf. Once again, this is far above the world average.
