I believe changes in Pakistan is the result of recent events in Russia. Musharaf clearely mentioned that they will not help US in attacking Iran therefore he's out. Saudi have so much influence over the current US administration and it will continue. Pakistan and Saudi are training and backing Taliban and other terrorist organizations which is actually what US want (or owns!). In my opinion the axis of evil is Saudi and no one else.
