Who wants to kill Chalabi?

He is a scum, inter­na­tional bank rob­ber but yet he is the only active sec­u­lar in the Iraqi gov­ern­ment, not con­nected directly or indi­rectly to a supreme-cleric or any reli­gious polit­i­cal bloc brought by the Americans.

Chalabi’s “Iraqi National Con­fer­ence” accused the Iraqi gov­ern­ment with the assas­si­na­tion attempt:

The inves­ti­ga­tions have con­firmed that the car belongs to one the offi­cial state-run agency car­ry­ing 130 mm can­non high explo­sive shells.

One Iraqi MP “Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis” accused the Amer­i­cans with the assas­si­na­tion attempt on Cha­l­abi say­ing that he have infor­ma­tion from a high-level Iraqi secu­rity source con­nected to the Amer­i­cans, con­firmed that the Amer­i­cans announced their inten­tion to arrest Cha­l­abi by fab­ri­cat­ing charges against him.

He added:

Al-Qaeda is no longer capa­ble of imple­ment­ing such oper­a­tion .…the oper­a­tion would be car­ried out under the direct super­vi­sion of American.
