New armed group in Diyala

I think, the Awak­en­ing Coun­cils are fight­ing back, reported on Saudi Al-Watan, a new armed group in Diyala called “Saraiya Al-Mustafa” = Al-Mustafa Brigades, dis­trib­uted leaflets and posters in the province cap­i­tal city — Ba’quba — aimed to fight the Amer­i­cans and issue warn­ings to the col­lab­o­ra­tors who coop­er­ate with the Amer­i­can occu­pa­tion forces.

Iraq ana­lyst spe­cial­ized in armed groups Omar Al-Mashadani said:

This group is less extreme appeared after the defeat of Al-Qaeda in the province.
