Bush — Suleiman deal

Assafir says other than the hand­shake his­toric image, Suleiman got noth­ing from Bush except shal­low promises to pro­vide the Lebanese army with mod­ern weapons.

Both cut a deal to avoid the embar­rass­ment, Bush do not men­tion Hezbol­lah in his speech and Suleiman do not men­tion Israel.
