More coup expectations
In an Interview with Iraq’s former Prime Minister Al-Jafa’ri the interviewer asked him about the rumors circulating lately about a military coup
If a coup happens in this country then there is a foreign country behind it … we need an army and an army leaders who don’t believe in coups.
The Accordance Front Mp Al-Ani told Al-Arab Al-Youm:
The coup is not a coup in the military concept; it will be done by one the parties dominant the government authority and the Iraqi army.
Our diagnosis of the Iraqi political realities suggest that there is a party or a small group of parties trying to control the state and all government institutions, trying to get there by tightening its grip on the military institution, it something similar to coup d’état.
