No Syrian intelligence officer killed in the blast

AKI reported few min­utes ago that a Syr­ian Brigadier Abdul-Karim Abbas, Vice-Chairman in the Syr­ian intel­li­gence, is assas­si­nated in yesterday’s explo­sion. The Brigadier is ques­tioned ear­lier and linked to Hariri assassination.

Lebanese web­site Elnashra denied this report say­ing Brigadier Abbas is still alive, and an army Brigadier George Garbi is killed [with his son in the car], he was coin­ci­den­tally dri­ving in the area when the blast took place.
