The let­ter com­forts Hamas about the United States posi­tion from send­ing Arab forces to Gaza Strip say­ing hat the U.S. became con­vinced of the futil­ity of this step.

Accord­ing to the source, this let­ter came as an answer to Iran’s let­ter to Hamas show­ing Iran’s con­cerns about Hamas oper­a­tion tar­get­ing the Pales­tin­ian Jihadi fac­tions still tar­get­ing Israeli cities and towns.
