If you understand how “Domain Names” work on the web then you will understand what I am saying here:

A former staff member of Al-Arabiya who registered the Al-Arabiya “domain name” with his name giving his address as the owner of the “alarabiya.net” by “Netsolution” through “Go Dady” is the start of the so called “Al-Arabiya hacked”.

That explains why Al-Arabiya in the last few days changed the domain name from “alarabiya.net” to “alarabiya.tv”.

The Saudi satellite TV thinks that the readers are idiots saying the hackers took the domain name. There is nothing called taking the domain name. Hackers can “hijack” the domain name but still it is registered with the owner’s address. Reviving a hijacked domain name is a matter of minutes.
