For the first time, Iranian officials admit [as reported on the Iranian site tabnak] that Muqtada Al-Sadr is in Qom — Iran to finish his religious studies getting the title “Mujtahid” by 2010 which allows him to issue valid Fatwas.
His study is supervised by two high-ranked Ayatollahs, Ayatollah Seyyed Kazem Ha’iri and Ayatollah Mahmoud Hashemi Shaharoodi Iran’s judiciary chief.
