Miliband to Muallem: there is no message behind the U.S. raid in Syria

Accord­ing to Al-Akhbar sources, UK For­eign Min­is­ter David Miliband told the Syr­ian for­eign Min­is­ter Walid Muallem that there is no polit­i­cal mes­sage behind the U.S., it was a secu­rity inci­dent only.

The news­pa­per noticed the defenses between the Saudi and the Egypt­ian approach to Syria. Saudi Ara­bia is silent but Egypt reacted against the raid. Egypt­ian par­lia­ment con­demned the raid asked the U.S. to stop its crimes in Arab countries.

Funny, the reac­tio of the Syr­ian Deputy For­eign Min­is­ter Al-Muqdad said yes­ter­day call­ing Maliki’s office spokesman Al-Dabagh:

This “fool” legit­imized the U.S. aggres­sion against Syria.
