Arab’s conditional help to the west

Under the title “Sorry Mr. Brown“, Saudi newspaper Al-Watan wrote:

The Saudi Kingdom received the British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, who is touring the Gulf to raise funds to increasing the capacity of the International Monetary Fund plan to help the global financial system.

The West follows its interests without much care about the interests of the Gulf States. Any funds provided by the Gulf States today must be given with conditions and guarantees.

Sorry Mr. Brown but our interests first.

Bari Attwan on Al-Quds Al-Arabi supports this opinion saying:

Sooner or later the American president will follows Brown’s footsteps and asks for help, but he must learn that his country’s interest is not by waging wars to humiliate Arabs and Muslims. This help must be conditioned.
