Opposition group sent a letter to Obama, Sadrists will reject the amended SOFA

- As reported on Moheet, Iraqi Consultants Council opposition group sent a letter to Obama saying that the group does not recognize the current sectarian government because it came to power based on a sectarian election. The group also asked Obama not follow Bush’s footsteps in Iraq.

- Sadrists confirmed that they do not trust Obama’s promise of change, Sadrist MP Lika’a Al Yaseen said:

The Sadrists cannot count on one person in the White House, we can’t see the U.S. other than an occupation country invaded Iraq.

Probably these doubts are true, because Al-Quds Al-Arabi reported that Iraqis are worried about George Biden option of dividing Iraqi into three regions.

- Syrian president Bashar Al-Assad received a letter from Muqtada Al-Sadr handed over by a a Sadrists delegation who met with the Al-Assad and said:

The Sadrists reject this security agreement, and managed to gather 90 MP’s oppose this agreement in the Iraqi parliament.

After the meeting the meeting, the Sadrists delegation held a press conference reported by Al-SharqAwsat Al- saying:

The security agreement will not see the light, even with the amendments. One article in the agreement says: “the U.S. will not seek to attack neighboring countries”, this is an elastic word and this is a very fragile article.

- An American military source told Al-Hayat the true story of the U.S. raid on Syria which is mismatching the U.S. military official version:

The raid targeted a key Iraqi person ” Badran Hisham” aka “Said Al-Kurdi” , who smuggles gunmen across the Syrian - Iraqi borders.

- Iraqi source from the Iraqi intelligence service told Iraqalaan that Chalabi is politically bankrupt who doesn’t have an official position in the parliament or the government, used by regional and foreign powers as a tool.
