  Egyptian initiative full of "mines"

  I don’t know if the points of the Egyptian initiative are reported somewhere in English or not, but here is the Al-Watan's Arabic version.

  Arab law experts on Aljazeera rejected this initiative saying: It is full of “mines” and Israeli biased. Former ambassador and international law expert Abdullah Al-Asha'l comment on the first point saying:

  What does “cease-fire for limited time” means? Does this mean that Israel can resume the genocide once again after this “limited time”? And for sure this period will be decided by Israel.

  
  Egypt's expected demonstration and the magic number

  Egyptian writer Fahmi Howeidi says:

  High rank officials gave instructions to all government controlled “media kitchen” to attack Hamas, Damascus, Hezbollah, Iran and Qatar.

  Atwan wrote on Al-Quds Al-Arabi:

  The [Egyptian] ruling party wants to prevent the pro-Palestinian demonstrations, which shows the Egyptian public responding to Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, who called out the Egyptians to pressure the government and force it to open Rafah-Crossing.

  Egyptian Muslim Brotherhoods announced tomorrow - Friday as a demonstration day and for the first time Kefaya Movement will join also. Can they achieve the dream number of Million demonstrators tomorrow?

  
  The rejection of the Egyptian initiative

  As expected the Palestinian resistance groups reject the Egyptian – French initiative, which is also rejected by the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhoods saying:

  The U.S. directly accepted this initiative is very suspicious.

  But according to Al-Manar, even Israel has its own reservation, saying that Israel wants to amend seven points in this initiative.

  Egyptian opposition writer Ibrahim Issa in his article “A new Egyptian initiative contains everything old” says:

  The only thing new in the Egyptian initiative is that it successfully managed to reduce the international anger against Israel after the bombed the UN school in Gaza.

  
  Turkey: No contacts with Israel before cease-fire

  Turkish newspaper quoted sources close to Recep Tayyip Erdogan saying that the Turkish Prime Minister refused to respond to a telephone call from Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.

  Erdogan stressed that he would not respond before the end of the Israeli aggression on Gaza.

  The newspaper added that the Israeli ambassador "Gaby Levy" in Ankara requested an urgent meeting with Erdogan, but the latter refused to meet him, telling him through his aides that Israel must ends the offensive in Gaza first.

  This is also confirmed by the Turkish daily Hurriyat:

  No contact with Israel is under consideration unless this condition is fulfilled.

  Jordan’s conspiracy theory

  One day before Nasrallah speech saying "The Scheme is to Give West-Bank to Jordan, Gaza to Egypt" [speech in English, Arabic], Al-manar also reported the same agenda.

  Even Abdullah the King of Jordan warned of such conspiracy. Jordanian analyst Mohammed Abu Rooman accepts the King's argument saying that Israel wants to impose a new "de facto" in the region connecting Gaza with Egypt and the West-Bank with Jordan.

  A very good read on Islam today, asking “Jordan..Will Gaza change its relation with Israel?” saying:

  Jordan wants to shift its position away from the Egypt – Saudi Arabia alliance…This started by removing the Head of the Jordanian Intelligence which is probably related to Gaza…Jordan is sure that the current battle will never topple Hamas.
