Newspaper: Major attack by Al-Qaeda against the United States

This is reported on Al-Quds Al-Arabi, Chief Edi­tor Bari Atwan is an expert on Al-Qaeda and he is one of three per­sons who met Bin Laden:

A source close to the lead­er­ship of a local orga­ni­za­tion in Yemen affil­i­ated with Al-Qaeda said that Al-Qaeda fol­low­ers will imple­ment a major oper­a­tion against the United States, which is much big­ger than the 11-September and prob­a­bly will change the world polit­i­cally and economically.

The source said that this oper­a­tion will be a response to Washington’s and West­ern coun­tries rejec­tions of the truce offered by al Qaeda for West­ern coun­tries led by the United States. Orders are given by Bin Laden him­self, the Imple­men­ta­tion of this oper­a­tion is a mat­ter of time, depends on well prepa­ra­tions and opportunity.
