Reuters don’t wants to tell you the reason behind the shooting and BBC uses the word “altercation”. This is the truth of what really happened:
According to eyewitnesses, an Iraqi soldier called “Barzan Mohammed Abdullah” from the northern city of Telkeef” used a machine gun fixed on a military “pick-up” patrol vehicle, shot American soldiers killing four [not two as the news agencies claim] and injured three in Zndjeli district — Mosul. The shooting came after the U.S. soldiers beat Abdullah inhumanly in public in front of the people.
AMSI says; the soldier took revenge after the Americans humiliated him in public.
Yup! Sounds about right. One American soldier struck Abdullah ONCE, knocking him to the ground. This was done to prevent Abdullah from doing something stupid. Abdullah then climbed onto the vehicle and shot the Americans IN THE BACK. Oh how proud (and stupid) was Abdullah.
Has anyone bothered to ask the soldiers here what happened? Doubt it…
By the way, here, would mean in Mosul..soldiers meaning American.
One American soldier struck Abdullah ONCE, knocking him to the ground.
and you know this how?
This was done to prevent Abdullah from doing something stupid.
do iraqi soldiers strike american soldiers ONCE, to prevent him from doing something stupid? and if he did, would he get shot? so what is the difference? dead soldiers, how’s that working for you?
God bless this soldier. He died for Iraq, but not before fighting back and killing those occupying scums. R.I.P
I have someone close in Mosul. I will find out the truth eventually. However, we have all been humiliated in public at one time or another. Especially if you are a young man, it is easy to find yourself in a situation. However, this is not a reason for gunplay and especially not an ambush. This happens here in America also but it is called gang warfare. My sympathy to all concerned but mostly for the American soldiers. They are there in a hostile environment for a noble cause that does not seem to be appreciated or understood by people on both sides. There are more people who support our troops than they may realize. God bless our troops in a “hair trigger” situation. Stay stong service men and women and CYA.
Roger thinks Iraq is a “noble cause”?
Is it noble to tear a country apart and replace
it’s anti-Iranian leader with a friend of Iran?
Our invasion was unprovoked (no WMDs)
and a violation of international law.
But we’re God’s country, and we run the
show.
Roger is the type of guy who people (who do not live in a state of denial) would call an american still living in la-la-land.
Roger, let me tell you the difference. In the U.S Iraqi soldiers don’t go around and beat Americans in front of public. Do you know why? Because there are no Iraqi soldiers occupying the U.S!
The guy fought and died for my country. He should be remembered as a hero who killed four pigs.
LOL @ Roger. “Noble cause”, indeed. Right.
