There is some truth behind Yemen accuÂsaÂtions of WestÂern counÂtries with ignorÂing the piracy to interÂnaÂtionÂalÂize the Red Sea. In his interÂview with RussÂian TV, Yemen presÂiÂdent calls the WestÂern counÂtries to re-build Somalia.
This is also what Al-Akhbar reported today saying:
WestÂern fleets raises doubts about the nature of their misÂsion… Puntland’s MinÂisÂter of ports, Nur Said, the West fleet led by the United near the coast of SomaÂlia involved in the increasÂing piracy operation…
ChairÂman of the Red Sea shipÂping comÂpany, Abdul Majeed Matar, recalled how the comÂmanÂder of a British warÂship, called the comÂpany to tell them the details of hijackÂing the company’s ship (Al-Mansoura) rather than to milÂiÂtarÂily interÂvene to preÂvent the operation.
The last clue is reported on Al-Sharq Al-Awsat by askÂing one of the pirates, who revealed:
Some counÂtries proÂvide the pirates with inforÂmaÂtion about the routes of the ships in the area.
