Egypt­ian secu­rity needed to col­lect “Sawt Al-Umah” =”voice of the the nation” Mag­a­zine, because Egypt­ian writer and Kefaya Move­ment spokesman Abdul Halim Qandil wrote an arti­cle crit­i­ciz­ing Mubarak’s regime and his role in Gaza [for those who read Ara­bic, the arti­cle is here.
Qandil also wrote an arti­cle on Al-Qauds Al-Arabi today saying:

Three decades ago, Egypt deployed a million-soldier army to fight Israel. this regime deploys a million-soldier army to fight the pub­lic, turn­ing every street into a war zone.

The funny thing is that Al-Quds Press reported today exac­tactly the same what Qandil wrote:

On Mon­day, Egypt­ian streets turned into a mil­i­tary base, dozens of mil­i­tary vehi­cles in the streets to pre­vent peo­ple from join­ing the demonstrations.
