According to Al-Masryoon, Hamas accepted two points from the Agreement:
- The deployment of Turkish — French monitoring forces on Rafah-Crossing.
- Egypt and the Palestinian Authority to play a role in the crossing management.
Al-Masryoon story is in conflict with the Syrian version reported today on the Syrian newspaper Al-Watan, but both are true saying:
The Egyptian negotiation team will return [from Syria] to Cairo rejecting the initiative in its current form.
Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahram accused Syria and Iran with pressuring Hamas to reject the initiative. the newspaper added that there a split among Hamas leaders on the initiative.
