Syria’s conditions to negotiate with the U.S.

Syr­ian source told Al-Watan that Syria put two con­di­tions for any future nego­ti­a­tions with the U.S.

- The revival of the U.S. peace ini­tia­tive — Madrid Con­fer­ence 1990 –, which means the return of the U.S. as the major bro­ker of the peace process in the Mid­dle East.

Syr­ian sources revealed an inten­sive meet­ings with U.S. del­e­ga­tions in the com­ing month — Feb -, the source said that three U.S. par­lia­men­tary del­e­ga­tions will visit Syria to “nor­mal­ize” the rela­tions with Damascus.
