Assad interview on Al-Manar

Bashar Al-Assad just fin­ished his inter­view with Al-Manar TV [briefly in Eng­lish, detailed in Ara­bic].

He said that Euro­pean del­e­ga­tions are meet­ing Hamas lead­ers secretly in Syria. Also he added that we can not name what hap­pened in Kuwait Sum­mit a “rec­on­cil­i­a­tion”, it was just break­ing the ice. Assad denies ear­lier reports that King Abdul­lah of Saudi Ara­bia invited him [Assad] to Saudi Ara­bia saying:

We just exchanged the words “I hope to see you soon in Dam­as­cus” he answered “I hope to see you soon in Riyadh”.
