The alleged fire shots and Al-Qaeda in Yemen

The alleged shootings near the American Embassy in Yemen was nothing more than police fired two shots in the air to warn a speeding car failed to stop at the checkpoint.

Police source said that the three persons in car were unarmed and the checkpoint itself is very far from the American embassy.

As for the so called new AL-Qaeda video [1, 2], announcing the unification of Yemeni – Saudi organizations, Yemen opposition said that behind the lines; the announcement is the unification between Al-Qaeda and the Yemeni government to confront the increasing

Yemen already had a long history of faking Al-Qaeda attacks, that the Yemeni government even criticized by Saudi Arabia.

I don’t know the content of the letter sent by Saudi King Abdullah to the Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Salih, if it yet another criticism or “let’s do this together”.
