Nasrallah – Egypt relations reached the point of no return

The reality is that there is nothing new in Nasrallah accusationscontinued in today’s article].

Egypt in its turn mobilized its media to “answer” Nasrallah, and this article on Al-Ahram is an example “A suspended resistance fighter”.

The nature of this “mobilization” is in details described by Al-Akhbar:

1– Contact Egyptian journalists and asks them to criticize Nasrallah.

2– Contact the media to start an attack on Nasrallah.

3– Forbid Egyptian demonstrators to carry photos of nasrallah

4– Take into account that Nasrallah’s popularity among the Egyptians exceeds the popularity of the Egyptian politicians and Mubarak.

But still, why Nasrallah?

El-Nashra answers this question, saying that Nasrallah’s speech is connected to:

Demands made by some Palestinian factions to Egypt to drop the Egyptian peace treaty with Israel and to engage in military confrontation again after decades of peace.
