The disappointments of Doha summit

Why the Arab summit was very disappointing, this report on Al-Akhbar gives us the reason:

- Doha Summit doesn’t protect Sudan.

An Arab diplomat source, noticed that there was no enthusiasm by Arab leaders to put the Sudan issue as a priority. The same diplomat said that «the lack of a clear decision will give a negative signal to the West, allowing it to carry out new steps.

- Gaza

The most dangerous part of Doha summit was to ignore the continuation of the embargo imposed on the Gaza Strip and the lack of immediate practical steps for the reconstruction.

Instead, the summit referred to Egypt’s efforts for reconciliation, despite the fact that Syrian diplomats asked during the closed session about the next step in the case of failure of the Egyptian efforts, the answer was that Egypt should return to the Arab League in the search for alternatives.

But the reality is that the Egyptian side refuses to share its efforts with any other country.
