Total political chaos

His dancing days are over, Husaam Al-Azawi (in the image) leader of the Awakening Councils in Diyala Province has been arrested

Akhbar Al-Arab’s analysis is the best I read:

The rise of Maliki’s popularity during the last provincial elections at the expense of other Shiite groups, the government started to preview its [previous] positions according to the recent phase.

What is happening now!! – an attempt to encircle the Awakening Councils and the arrest of its leaders is an early [postponed] battle before the victory of the election glimmer starts to fade away.

As for the final conclusion:

After the Iraqi government and the US military forces having abandoned their previous alliances, it seems that the coming phase will witness a new kind of tension.

It is clear that there will be a new kind of fight in the Iraqi arena, which may lead to trigger Al-Qaeda members to return once again taking advantage of the gap caused by the political situation.

From the campaign against the Awakenings to the reconciliation, Iraqi writer Amjad Al-Katib says that this is a total confusion and lack of political experience:

When the prime minister of any country takes a decision, he would calculate the effects, the reactions and mobilization of the necessary political support in advance to ensure the success of his move.

The Prime Minister announced his initiative of reconciliation with Ba’ath Party, at the first reaction from the opposition side, Maliki immediately withdraw his announcement.

However, it was a total chaos, once he announced that there will be no reconciliation with Ba’ath Party, later he announced that the meaning of the reconciliation is with the Ba’athists who have been forced to join the party and third announcement is the reconciliation with Ba’athists as individuals.

@ LB: Totally agree with you on the issue of white fatsos. However, it is important that the Iraqi Resistance is in a steady process of pushing the mercs of aforementioned white trash out of Iraq, so why give up now that the victory is closing by?

Let’s keep resisting, all for Iraq, Iraqi Resistance — and the most importantly, for the Iraqi People and her Salvation.
