Coup attempt in Qatar linked to Saudi Arabia

Qatari offi­cial admit­ted the coup attempt in this audio brief­ing on Strat­for, but Al-Jaml added that the coup attempt is linked to Saudi Arabia:

The Qatari gov­ern­ment splits between one wing who wants to inte­grate the country’s for­eign pol­icy with the Saudi for­eign pol­icy, and other wing who a bal­anced for­eign pol­icy between Iran and Saudi Arabia…

… Saudi Ara­bia aware that Qatar started to emerge as a strong Gulf-State … And its Qatar’s diplo­macy was suc­cess­ful on the Lebanese side and among the many con­flict­ing par­ties in the Arab countries.
