Obama keeps the pressure on the Palestinian Authority

Accord­ing to Al-Manar, the US wants to “float” the Israeli set­tle­ments issue and keep it uncer­tain to force the Pales­tini­ans to talk and reach an agree­ment with Israel.

The web­site also added that Wash­ing­ton has started to pres­sure on the Pales­tin­ian Author­ity to agree to resume nego­ti­a­tions, and of Obama’s admin­is­tra­tion sent a mes­sage to the Pales­tin­ian Author­ity stressed the need to join the three-party meet­ing in New York, which will attended by the US pres­i­dent, Pales­tin­ian Pres­i­dent Mah­moud Abbas and Israeli Prime Min­is­ter Ben­jamin Netanyahu.

Ear­lier, Pales­tin­ian sources told the Al-Sharq Al-Awsat that if Wash­ing­ton keeps the pres­sure then we will attend the meet­ing with­out aban­don­ing our conditions.
