Official sources in the government told Muntadar al-Zaidi’s [the shoe thrower] family to sign a pledge which confirms that they will not celebrate the release of Zaidi “for security reasons”, but the family will defy the order and celebrate the release.

The “Iraqi government” is only doing what it thinks the US government wants. Al-Zaidi is clearly a hero, not just to Iraqis but to millions around the world who wish to see that war criminal Bush buried in a mountain of thrown shoes… or even just plain buried!

  2. In a time of obvious sectarian sedition, being bred primarily by treacherous Iran!Muntander al-Zaidi is a secular Shia‘ whose a nationalist first, than a Shia‘Muslim after! The Hero al-Zaidi,should be awarded the most noble resistance fighter with a show or two!As the commenter Max above alluded too,the criminal King George W Bush should be buried by tons of shoes!!!Hail the Al maqawama al sharifa!!!
