28-09-2009 — AL-Mashhadani (The National Inde­pen­dent Trend) offi­cially with­draw from Maliki’s (State of Law) coali­tion (to announced Thurs­day) — AKI, accord­ing ipa-Iraq; polit­i­cal blocs left Allawi’s “Iraqi List” joined Mashhadani’s Trend and one split orga­ni­za­tion from the “Sadr Trend” called “Sadr Al-Iraq” also joined the Trend.

- With the same link above, AKI leaked infor­ma­tion of few names of the polit­i­cal blocs in Maliki’s to-be-announced coali­tion, which is sim­i­lar to my list here added unnamed tribal chiefs from Anbar — Samara’a — Kirkuk provinces.

- Allawi’s “Iraqi List” claims that 12 polit­i­cal blocs joined his “list”, no fur­ther details about the name of the 12 blocs.

- Fayli kurds formed a new polit­i­cal called “The Gen­eral National Con­fer­ence of the Fayli kurds”, the new move­ment joined INA say­ing: The rea­son to join INA is not Sec­tarism but [geo­graph­i­cally] Fayli kurds are closer to INA’s [geo­graph­i­cal] areas than to the Kurds.

27-09-2009 — A new idea under dis­cus­sion by INA (or UIA) sug­gests the “rota­tion” of the coalition’s pres­i­dency among INA’s polit­i­cal blocs.

- Al-Zzaman in an inter­view with Asaib Al-Haq spokesman reveals that the group is work­ing for the release of Hezbollah’s leader impris­oned in Iraq Ali Moussa Dakdouk.

- Maliki appointed his office direc­tor Tarek Najm as the head of the Iraqi intel­li­gence ser­vice, suc­ceed Mohammed Shahwani.

- Basra Polit­i­cal Coun­cil asked the gov­ern­ment to declare the province as a dis­as­ter area because of the high level of salt in water that pushes the res­i­dents to migrate to other areas.
