- Under the title “Parties conflict intensifies”, Lebanese Al-Mustaqbal published a very interesting report about INA’s next plan to isolate Maliki:
The Iraqi presidency Council (Talabani, Adil Abdul Mahdi and Hashimi) to a new law before the Parliament that will withdraw Maliki’s government from all powers and turned it into “caretaker government” that shall not take any decision or action that may benefit of the Prime Minister and his “State of Law” coalition in the coming election.
The new law suggests that all the government’s authorities to be transferred to the Presidency Council.
Al-Mustaqbal’s sources said that the new law is already before the parliament since last Thursday, and Adil Abdul Mahdi is the behind the idea.
On the same issue, AKI reported that Maliki’s “State of Law” coalition rejected this move from the Presidential Council because it is unconstitutional.
- After long wait, “jobless” Muwafaq Al-Ruba’i and his recently formed coalition “Al-Wasat” made up his mind to join INA (a funny take of the image that shows Al-Ruba’i announces joining the coalition, the Arabic word “Indhmam” = “joining” is written with wrong letter “ظ” on the banner behind).
- AL-Hayat concluded that INA will be the widest political front in the election, and the “Constitutional Party” — led by Interior Minister Al-Bolani promised a “surprise” wide coalition to be announced soon.
- Al-Wasat expects that some of the leaders of small political blocs who joined Maliki’s coalition will change position to join INA.
- Yesterday, Ur Agency quoted Jalal Al-Din Al-Saghir saying:
Forming a coalition with Allawi doesn’t mean forming a coalition with Allawi’s allies
That is Al-Mutlaq’s “National Dialogue” who recently formed a coalition with Allawi.
