Iraq-free, Syria-Turkey-Iran triangle

Con­flict­ing state­ments about Sharm el-Sheikh meet­ing. The host coun­try Egypt says that the Iraq-Syria cri­sis will not be dis­cussed, Iraqi sources told Al-Hayat that the cri­sis will be present.

Kuwaiti Alwatan says that Syria right now is not very much inter­ested in solv­ing the cri­sis. Actu­ally, Syria used the cri­sis to its own ben­e­fit, accept­ing Ankara’s medi­a­tion is tak­ing one extra step out of its isolation.

The result is, as put by Al-Quds Al-Arabi: [Iraq-free] new Syria-Turkey-Iran triangle.
