Maliki’s visit to Washington, split among the Sadrists

First — As expected and long running dispute between Maliki and Interior Minister Bolani took another turn today. Maliki’s last act before leaving to Washington is asking the Parliament to withdraw confidence from Bolani.

- The official statement says that Al-Maliki in Washington discuss the UN seventh article imposed on Iraq and the international tribunal of the explosions in Iraq.

Al-Watan sources revealed that Maliki wants to discuss the reasons behind the Pentagon’s delay to supply Iraq with two squadrons of F-16 jets, one squadron of F-18 and the approval of Iraq import of arms from foreign countries such as France and Italy.

Al-Quds Al-Arabi says that Maliki’s visit is to obtain the “Green light” from Washington for his second term as Prime Minister.

Agrees with the above, Saudi Al-Watan says that Maliki and His “State of Law” coalition are in total paranoia from a front led by Allawi if he join INA and the two big Kurdish Parties (waiting for a conference soon to decide the possibility for more political blocs to join Allawi’s coalition) .

Interesting report with above Saudi link is that a split organization emerged from the Sadrists called itself “Members of the Iraqi Sadrists Conference” reject the formation of coalition between the Sadrists and ISCI saying:

Some members who falsely claim to be Sadrists, managed to obtain sensitive posts within the movement, and became just like the Zionist lobby in the American congress. They dragged the movement to join sides with different ideology.
