Egypt takes a new position on Yemen war, Houthis take military bases without a fight

Iran started officially to accuse Saudi Arabia with recruiting thousands of Militia men and a budget of $5 Million to assist the Yemeni army in the war against the Houthis.

These official accusations came after Saudi newspaper Al-Watan published an editorial saying that Saudi Arabia can also starts “thousands of fires inside Iran”.

Panic in the Yemeni government after Egyptian semi-official Al-Ahram newspaper published an Op-Ed article called “Save Yemen” included a new Egyptian position which is totally different from the Egyptian previous position on the Yemen-war.

It seems that the Egyptians gave up relying on the Yemeni army to ends the Houthis rebel in the North, and that is the reason which the Op-Ed addresses, calling for International intervention to end this war in Sa’ada between the Houthis and the Yemeni government.

As for the war news, Houthis are doing much better than the Yemeni, they managed to invade a military base and city yesterday without a fight. AlMasdar reported that the Yemeni army left its positions when the army saw the Houthis are coming. That is one day after a high ranked Yemeni military General was killed in the fight.
