US ambassador in Lebanon surprise visit to the UNIFIL

After the dis­cov­ery of Israeli spy devices in Al-naqora — South Lebanon, the US ambas­sador Michele J. Sison made a sur­prise visit to the UNIFIL Headquarters.

The visit with secu­rity mea­sures is reported by the media, the UNIFIL com­man­der Glau­dio Grat­siano and senior offi­cers dis­cussed the sit­u­a­tion in south Lebanon and the terms of the imple­men­ta­tion of Res­o­lu­tion 1701.
