First — There are excellent reports, studies and analysis about this wave of explosions, I will publish them all in the coming days.
Second — You should read this report from Aki: “Deadly car bombs ‘made inside’ Green Zone” (h/t uruknet) — Maybe the people at Inside Iraq can find some answers — (Maliki indirectly admit today that the explosions are inside job).
How do I know (and every Iraqi) that the Iraqi government and security is fake?
Simply, the statement says that Al-Qaeda is the group behind the explosion, the Iraqi security raided a house in Ur neighborhood where the bombs were made.
Ur district (see: map) is a total Shiite neighborhood, most if not all the resident are Sadrists (if they liked or not). Unlikely that Al-Qaeda who are extremists Sunnis will rent a house and made their bombs in a Shiite area, let alone most of them Sadrsist.
Wafiq Al-Samari’ former Talabani adviser wrote today (at last he wrote something useful):
The explosions were very close to the Green Zone, which makes the Iraqi government’s story of accusing Al-Qaeda and Ba’ath Party unbelievable.
Iraqi politicians do not want to admit that security is a collective responsibility… Security cannot be built on racism, sectarian, exclusion bases… The Iraqi government started too early to dance on the “security achievements” tunes employing them to the election campaign.
- Al-Sumaria reported that there are three options before the Presidential Council to find a solution for Kirkuk crisis — personal opinion (and I am originally from Kirkuk) I don’t think these proposals will accepted by the Kirkuk-Arabs, Kurds and Turkmen (unless Susan rice manged to pressure the Kurds to lower their demands).
