Algerian Abdelaziz Bouteflika wants to invite Sudan’s president to visit Algeria as a thank for organizing the football game.
Syria newspaper Al-Watan reacted very angry today saying:
While the Israeli air force bombed Gaza [yesterday] .. and the Egyptian regime at the highest levels busy with its football-crisis … Peres announced from Cairo that Jerusalem is under the Israeli sovereignty, and Mubarak advises him how to do that.
Algerian Foreign Affairs official in the parliament said:
They Mubarak’s regime shameful positions towards Arab issues, collaborating with the Zionists against the Palestinians, behind Egypt’s campaign against Algeria.
